Global Game Jam 2017 · VR in 48 hours
Lighthouse Down VR
You are Tom, a paraplegic maintenance man, stranded alone on an island with nothing but your hands and a will to survive. The only chance of rescue is at the top of the lighthouse — and the weather has other plans.

The problem
A game jam gives you forty-eight hours. I wanted to spend them proving VR was possible in that window, with a team I recruited from outside my own major as well as inside it.
What I did
I put the team together myself and led it as producer while also taking 3D art. Scope was cut to what a weekend can hold — one confined setting and one vertical objective — so every asset had somewhere to go and nobody sat blocked waiting on another discipline.
Outcome
A VR experience delivered inside the jam, a trailer that still plays, and a ten-person credit list where every discipline is named.
